After surprising everyone, Sri Lanka will face Pakistan in the final of Asia Cup 2022 at Dubai International Stadium on Sunday. Cricket fans had hoped for a grand final between Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Both teams started the tournament with defeats, but took shape in the deciding match. While the islanders began with a defeat at the hand of Afghanistan, whereas Pakistan began with a defeat from India. Sri Lanka have remained undefeated since then, winning from Pakistan with five wickets. 

Sri Lanka has found various heroes in much needed stages, who helped Sri Lanka to win all the match. Opener Nissanka and Mendis performed very well and Sri Lanka will expect the same from them in this big match as well. Dasun and Shanaka looked great to get runs in last overs. Bowlers also got their rhythm and doing very well in last few matches. Players such as Wanindu Hasaranga, Maheesh Theekshana, Dilshan Madushanka and Chamika Karunaratne perfomed in difficult circumstances and helped Sri Lanka to reach fifth straight victory. 

Babar Azam's batting form in Asia Cup was concern for Pakistan. He didn't play any big inning in Asia Cup, the Pakistani skipped failed to make a start for the team. However, his partner is doing well and has scored 226 runs in this tournament so far. Pakistan team has strong middle order. If talking about Pakistan's bowling lineup, despite the injuries of Shaheen Shah Afridi and Shahnwaz Dahani, Youngsters Naseem Shah and Mohammad put on a great show with the bowl. While spinners Shadab Khan and Nawaz also performed well.
